Does Checkmyfile promote other brokers to my clients?
The short answer to this question is no – Checkmyfile doesn’t promote other brokers to your clients, and we’ll never share or sell customer data to third parties, as outlined in our Privacy Policy.
We do have a very small number of Featured Partners, currently Mortgage Advice Bureau and Simply Lending. These are Checkmyfile partners that we promote on our website.
That said, customers who sign up to Checkmyfile via your unique partner tracking link will never be shown content from our featured partners.
This also applies to anyone who has previously signed up through your tracking link. If one of your referrals reactivates their account, they still won’t see any featured partner content – now or at any point in the future.
To confirm:
- Leads referred by our partners are never shown to, or sold to, any third party.
- No customer information is shared with our featured partners (or any third party) unless the customer actively submits their details themselves.
- Customers who arrive via a partner tracking link will not see information relating to other brokers. If this does occur, it’s highly likely the tracking link wasn’t followed to sign up.
- This setup exists separately from our partnership programme and does not affect our partners or the clients they refer.

If you ever have any concerns or notice something that doesn’t look right, please let us know straight away – we’ll investigate thoroughly and resolve any issues as quickly as possible.
How do I get Checkmyfile to promote my company on site?
At the moment, we’re not looking to add any additional featured partners. However, if this were to change in the future, we would carefully review and research any partners we feel might be a good fit and would then get in touch directly.
